Simbalion Super Crayon, unlike normal crayon or pastel, has excellent coverage. It can make the same thickness as oil paint, the same brightness as pastel, and the same gradation as charcoal. It works on virtually any surfaces: paper, cardboard, cloth, wood and stone. You can use Simbalion Super Crayon to amend the dull tone of a work of watercolor, or to strengthen the gradations on a pastel. You can also use it on ceramics, china, vase, etc. Truly versatile.
